Mit 3,5“ -Display im Breitbildformat u. Auflösung von 320×480 Pixeln wird iPhone einen perfekten Video Player, mit dem man auf der Reise die Zeit totschlagen kann. Weil ich immer geschäftlich unterwegs bin, u. deswegen iPhone als tragbarer Video Player häufig benutzen, sammle ich nach und nach einige Erfahrungen und Kenntnisse darüber, u. möchte gerne hier mit ihr zusammengenießen:

1.Unterstützte Audio/Videoformate von iPhone
2.Passende Parameter von Audio u. Video
3.Nützliches Audio u. Video-Konvertierungsprogramm, die ich kenne

Jetzt zitiere ich mal:

• MUCH BETTER Battery Management : -
• Wi-Fi life is improved as it now switches into a less power hungry standy mode
• New standby modes for EDGE and Wi-Fi. EDGE standby icon indicates a blue block instead of “E” and Wi-Fi standy icon indicates grey signal strength instead of blue. In turn, the iPhone now searches for EDGE or Wi-Fi only when prompted by the user (opening Safari, Youtube, etc).
• When entering a password, the shift key acted as CAPS LOCK in 1.1.1. This has been fixed.
• When you turn off the phone and turn it back on, it goes straight to the home screen instead of the slider screen.
• A smooth transition is noticed when switching between the Album cover screen and list screen in iPod.
• Photo Library being a lot smoother, faster scrolling through pictures.
• Removed the extra ‘Contacts’ option from Settings.

Die französische Ausgabe von CNet will erfahren haben, dass Apple am Samstag Firmware 1.1.3 veröffentlich will. Neben den üblichen Bugfixes sollen auch 2 neue Anwendungen in der Firmware enthalten sein:

1. Voicenotes, zum Aufzeichnen von Sprachnotitzen. Das geht jetzt nur mit einem Hack. Die Sprachnotizen sollen dann direkt über iTunes auf den Computer übtertragen werden.
2. Einen Festplattenmodus, um das iPhone auch als mobilen Datenträger nutzen zu können.

Wenn diese Firmware am Samstag wirklich kommen sollte, wäre auch der OOTB 1.1.2 Hack nicht mehr weit. Denn für diesen Hack braucht das Dev-Team ja bekanntlich eine neuere Firmware.

Solange es keine Anleitung für einen Upgrade gibt auf keinen Fall auf die neue Firmware updaten. Wir werden euch so schnell wie möglich eine sichere Anleitung posten.

Bis dort hin können ja mal alle die ein geunlocktets 1.0.2 oder 1.1.1 iPhone haben auf 1.1.2 updaten, damit sie nicht immer hinterherhängen.

Weiters wird es bei uns bald einen Serverwechsel geben. Die andauernden Serverausfälle haben mich schon sehr viel Zeit gekostet und darum hatte ich auch nicht mehr so viel Zeit für den Inhalt der Seite. Ich hoffe das wird dann besser werden.
